“The feeling of contentment hearing your voice on our timely phone conversations. Jam-packing all the stories we’re longing to share for the day. You filling me in with how your day went and me telling you about this funny line I’ve read in a book. You cracking up those simple jokes and me trying not to laugh but fails to do so. And those laughters, loud and sincere, that could make my heart smile up to my ears.”
“Those fun phone conversations that make distance just a piece of cake.”

Meet Baby Angel, whose got the cutest smile and eyes and— swimsuit! She’s still 5 but isn’t afraid of the water. Believe it or not she can already cross the 25m pool alone! :)

Meet Baby Alyssa and her very cute signature pose. This baby girl is quick. Every time I face the camera to her and say “SMILE BABY”, she doesn’t hesitate to smile and do her signature pose right away that I often don’t have time to focus properly. HAHA.
FYI: This baby girl memorizes Charice’s “Louder” and Katy Perry’s “Hot N’ Cold.” I can even duet with her! I asked her one time to sing for me, and she did even when her mouth was too full of rice and chicken. Just the cutest! <3

Mami Melch’s humble abode!

Moms for the prayer.

Thanks Tita Ruth and Uncle Bert for the yummy cake!

Meet Mami Melch!

Dividing the cake in a way it would feed everyone. :)))

Now, dinner begins!

The Ambalong Aunts and Uncles with blooper Jennis. :))))

The only roses amongst the thorns. :)))

BFF! <3

Videoke after party!

The perks of being the only girl: no one gets to steal the mic away! :)))

April 22, 2012: Thanksgiving dinner @ Mami Melch’s.
I have always been inlove with Mami Melch’s home. Its nature feel, with all the vines flowing down from the trees, and the smell of cool air. Knowing that my relatives (on Dad’s side) would sponsor a thanksgiving dinner for me at Mami Melch’s place was just great. I was hesitant at first to invite friends, mostly since the place isn’t ours, but they insisted I should for it’s my party after all and so I wouldn’t be guilty for food left overs since they promised to make it somehow grand. And so, being obedient that I am (LOL), I did but thought deep inside to invite only a few because, again, the place isn’t ours. Hee.
Didn’t expect the number of people who attended though since my invitation was really vague. Vague in a sense that I sent out the invitations on a very short notice- a night before while some just hours before the dinner itself and that I got to ask only a few friends to help share the invitation around since I wasn’t that active on the internet. Also, this night made me realize how many guy friends I have. The food almost came in short due to their very big appetite. Haha. Twas fun, although He had to leave too early. Thank God for everything! :)

One.

Two.

Three.
April 21, 2012: Three in One!
Making a quick summary of the day because it’s simply ONE OF THE BEST. :)
ONE- Lolo’s 40 days! Early prayer which was then followed by a mini yet fun and well-bonded celebration. Now surely Lolo’s in heaven!
TWO- Testing ourselves in the kitchen. Siomai and chocolate cake, SUCCESS!
and THREE- Something new to work out my guts on: Skateboarding! \m/
Doing something fun to get through the lazy summer days is great, but imagine the fun when it is tripled? Plus there’s an answered prayer. Lord, thank you for everything! <3
Separate posts on each, hopefully, soon.

Celebrating the Chinese New Year in a not so Chinese way! Well at least we had pasta, for long life! :D

A new happy Canon kid! :)

So long, Pink! You were the best! >:D<
April 14, 2012: FINALLY, my new baby! <3
Home bound, once again! And this would be the longest since college days are over and summer school is no more. WOOOT.
Anyhoo, aside from the great feeling of being home again, two awesome things added to the list! 1) Our house has been newly painted and it really looks great in white. From the roof down to the kitchen, everything smells of new paint. It’s like living in a new house all over again. Thanks to Kuya Jik whom I can not imagine did all the job himself. Hats off, Kuya! And for number 2), wait for it………………… I finally have my new baby! The one I’ve been waiting and wanting for mooooonths, my very own DSLR! It’s wrapped up in a box inside my room. And when I got to open it, that moment. Well, twas one of the happiest ever. I still can not contain my joy. Thankyousomuch Moms and Ninang! :*
Named her, KISS! But then of course, I’ll forever love you my every handy and faithful PINK cybershot! >:D<

A blessed Holy Week to you all! :)

Seeing your name on the list is one of THE. BEST. FEELINGS. EVER!

Posing in my favorite color. <3

Joining the bandwagon in a wacky way! :)
Graduating in highschool was fun, alright and the kind that is expected. But graduating in college, especially when you’re a transferee is surely a different thing! It’s more like: AT LAST!!!! LORD, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Notice the big bold letters because I mean them with so much conviction. Hee. I should say college’s tougher, bolder, and more straightforward yet it’s the one that has taught you many things in life, has made you experience a lot and has shaped you into a better person for the future, which in most cases, is just a step away. Well college is different from highschool for a reason.
Unlike any normal college student, being a transferee was a challenge since I had to adjust with my new environment, which is more of speaking tagalog, and learn how to master it perfectly. LOL. It’s hard when you can’t express yourself that much due to the fact that you can’t formulate the right sentences thus shutting down your ideas and opinions. But I’m working on it, and I think I’m doing OK. So they say. HAHA! Also, being a student athlete adds to that challenge since you really have to juggle your studies and your sport (which is swimming in my case) at the same time, in a manageable way. But thanks to my great friends, my awesome Bio classmates (both in Iligan and in here), my talented teammates and my generous profs for making me sane all through it all. They are life’s blessings. Most of all, to Him, for the inspiration and everything else, to my family, not just for the allowance of course, but for the support and care and love. And to dear Almighty God for being so amazing and great all the time. Tomorrow’s the big day! God bless us all! :)
